What an absolutely fantastic day!!!

You know those smiles that light up your face and you just can’t seem to turn off. Yes, that has been me all day! I found out around lunch time that I PASSED my Science Education Certification Exam!!!! This has been something I have been preparing for, for the past three years…. and, it is finally over! I have passed and am now looking forward to two more Certification Exams, and GRADUATION in 158 days!!!!

 I cannot wait to be ‘officially’ a certified teacher!

I am just at an extremely exciting time in my life! I am so happy for everything that I have and everything that my future holds!

Not to mention…. I start dancing again tomorrow! I have truly missed this. I know I’ve only been off for six months, but I have a feeling tomorrow it may seem like I have been off for six years!!! Keeping my fingers crossed I’m not too out of shape and won’t be too incredibly sore! Regardless I am super excited!

Oh Happy Day! (This was supposed to post on Friday...Oops)

Today I am happy for many reasons!

I have made it through my first three weeks of summer school! I can’t believe how fast it is flying by, but I guess when you get up every day and do exactly what you love, it will go by fast!

On our last day of the third week we made coffee filter butterflies!

How cute are these :) my kiddo’s are so talented! I love being a teacher! This is the best blessing ever!

I am also happy that I am on pinterest now!!!! This is my new favorite addiction. If you are on pinterest, please follow me, I have so many cute classroom pins!

Today was also amazing because I took my second of four TExES educator certification exams today!

Fingers crossed that I passed :)

Happy 4th of July!!!

What a fantastic weekend :) I cannot believe it is already over! I had a blast and was able to do quite a bit! Oh how I love long weekends! Seeing the fireworks was definitely a huge highlight to the weekend! 

Sunday was Amazing! My sweet boy and I went to lay-out and to a nice dinner, then we met up with my mom and some of her friends to drink wine and watch the fireworks in Southlake! They were not a good as years past, but overall a great night! It’s always fun catching up with my mom’s friends :) never a dull moment lol!

I tried a Malbec for the first time, and really liked it! I love a good glass of wine and really enjoy trying and finding new wines! 

Today was the best! I was not as productive with some of the things I wanted to (a.k.a. studying for my TExES Test), but I did help my mom clean and organize her garage :)

I love mother daughter time… even if it was cleaning out the garage in 100+ heat!!!

 

  All Organized now!

Annnnddddd for the best part of the entire weekend!!! Dinner, Frozen Yogurt and Fireworks with my baby!

Tonight we went to Freebirds for dinner! Sooo good :)

Such an amazing day, I could not be happier. 

 

Here’s a question to ponder… How is it that no matter where you are sitting in relation to where fireworks are being shot off they always look like they are coming toward you (and only you)?

Oh Happy Day! It’s Friday July 1st

Today is a happy day because…

I got to sleep in!!!!

 

This never happens! Usually I have a million things going on a day, but not today! Since I started teaching summer school, my weekend starts Thursday afternoon!

I did some studying!

 I am taking one of my Texas Teacher Certification exams a week from today! I am surprisingly looking forward to this… well looking forward to getting it behind me! I have taken and passed one of four! Next Friday will hopefully make 2 of 4, and I will be half way done!

My sweet boy and I are having a stay in date tonight!

 

I’m making his favorite, Grilled Chicken Alfredo and we’re watching the movie ‘I am number 4’! I remember seeing previews for this a while ago and wanted to see it. Hopefully it is good! Not my typical movie genre, but I liked the preview, so we’ll see!

I get to see fireworks this weekend!

 The 4^th of July definitely ranks up there as one of my absolute favorite holidays each year. Fireworks just make me smile so much!!!

I graduate in 169 days!!!

 

I know it seems silly to have a countdown going so far out, but I just can’t wait!

I LOVE classroom decorations!

To all of my teacher friends out there :) I have some exciting news to share!!!

Yesterday while shopping in the dollar aisle at Target; my favorite place to visit when I have some down time or just feel like browsing around, I found classroom stuff! Yes, the one dollar section… not the two dollars and fifty cents section, but the one dollar section :) I was so excited about my discovery!  

 

EVERYTHING in this photo was a dollar! I found bulletin board boarders, calendars, ‘today, tomorrow, and yesterday’ signs, hall passes, weather posters, and many other fun classroom accessories!

I absolutely LOVE finding deals! Especially on things that I actually need, not just see and decide I have to have ;)
